Today has been highly boring. I think I am losing my touch. The first years aren't even afraid of me anymore.
I suppose I should fix that.
Since I was out of school, it seems that no one has asked me to Hogsmeade yet. I am sure one of you wizards would love to escort me.
Also, Severus, dear? Are you quite alright? Really, this is what you get for abandoning your housemates, but we still love you. I'll even help keep your mind off that horrible two timing wench. After all, what else are friends for?

There will be a Beginning of Term social on Friday evening in the Slytherin common room from 8 until curfew. I do expect to see all of my housemates there.

So, summer.
First it was Egypt with Father, another business trip, but I did not mind. Then home for Iris's bridal shower. Then two weeks in Mexico, which was fun. Artifacts searches by day and a nice resort at night. Then home for Iris's wedding, which was nice, if you enjoy being dressed in pastel colors and paraded like a show dog. Then China with Father, which was the most fruitful trip. I also got some gorgeous silk robes in China.
Now, we are all back at school. When I think about the beaches in Mexico, with all of the beautiful, tanned pure blood wizards, school just seems so bland. I suppose I should see if there will be anything or anyone worthy of entertaining me this year.
